Finding Lease Option Partners

How the seller finds a lease option buyer

If your property is listed, tell your agent to specify in the listing that the seller will lease option. If your agent hasn't marketed your property on www.Craigslist.org, do it yourself. You can either include it under the category "apartments/housing" or "real estate for sale". If your property is not listed, list it on www.Craigslist.org. Identify your property as a lease option or rent to own.

How the lease option buyer finds a seller

If you are a lease option buyer, the market is yours. Sellers are stuck in a buyer's market. They can't sell their homes despite listing with a real estate agent, or marketing it on their own. Most will consider a lease option purchase. Go to open houses, hire a real estate agent or work with the seller's agent. Point them to this website to explain the lease option transaction.

Go to www.Craigslist.org and respond to postings under "Apts./housing for rent." Many of these postings are sellers who cannot sell their homes. Ask if they are interested in a lease option. Under "housing wanted" post your interest in lease optioning. Also, go to "Real Estate for Sale", and when you see a property you have interest in, inquire about whether they will lease option.
